This whiskey barrel ring with carbon fiber sleeve is more durable than a traditional all wood ring, The Distiller shows off a very distinct grain found in white oak whiskey barrels. Made fresh, you may even smell a bit of the whiskey from years of whiskey aging. This wood is formed to a woven sturdy carbon fiber base to give it some serious strength and durability.
We carefully shape the outside of each Distiller Ring to have a "barrel" like shape just like the cask it was born from. Each ring will exhibit a slightly different grain.

The Wood
We build this ring using reclaimed white oak whiskey barrels from High West Distillery in Park City Utah. You may even catch a whiff of one of our favorites, the Campfire Rye.
The Turquoise
We've searched for years to find the perfect turquoise that is both real and the exact right color. Turquoise veins in the rock we've sourced must be exposed by crushing away otherwise unnecessary minerals. We then crush the turquoise into finely measured pieces for inlay.

As always and with all of our rings using carbon fiber, we use only the best and finest quality US made carbon fiber.

GOT DESERT?
This carbon fiber band with Moab sand was born out of our passion for the desert of the Southwest, we've captured a small part of a great place so that you can carry it around with you as you go about your adventuring ways. Rings in our Nature Collection combine a durable high strength epoxy resin system with elements from nature to encapsulate more than just the physical elements. Wearing this is just one small way we enjoy and pay homage to the desert we love so much.
We make this ring by casting on the inside or inlaying directly to the outside of our Bullet Ultralight carbon fiber ring. The red rock sand collected comes from Moab, Utah and is filtered through numerous sieves. We hand finish every edge of each ring to ensure comfort and fit.
*Note # 1 - Moab sand is naturally more coral in color, just like the iconic Delicate Arch. Once saturated with resin / water or other liquids, however, it darkens significantly. We do our best to represent each ring in the photos here, but yours will be one of a kind!
**Note # 2 - The original Moab ring had a cast sand liner only. As of November 2025 we have updated this style to show off the Moab sand more clearly by having the sand in an outer channel if chosen.
The Moab ring is only offered in 8mm widths. Thinner or wider is possible, please ask.

FAQs
The easiest way is to wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger, mark where the paper overlaps, then measure that length in millimetres — that's your circumference. Cross-reference it against our size chart to find your US size.
A few things that affect fit: fingers are slightly larger in the evening and in warm weather, so measure then rather than first thing in the morning. If you're between sizes, go up one — a ring that's just slightly loose is more comfortable than one that's too tight.
Not confident? We'll send you a free sizing kit. Just add it to your order and we'll hold your ring until you confirm the right size — no extra charge, no delay to your final delivery.
Width is personal, but here's a useful guide:
- 4mm — slim and barely-there. Great for smaller hands or anyone who prefers a minimalist look. The most popular width for our Ultralight rings.
- 6mm — the classic width. Substantial enough to notice, narrow enough to forget about. Works well on most hand sizes.
- 8mm — bold and visible. Best for larger hands or anyone who wants the ring to make a statement.
If you're not sure, go 6mm. Most people who agonize over it end up happy with 6.
Yes. Real carbon fiber is absolutely electrically conductive and you should NEVER wear carbon fiber rings if you are working with electricity in any manner. Here is a list of conductive and non conductive rings It’s a common misconception that carbon fiber rings are perfect for electricians but don’t be fooled. This idea stems from poorly made knock-off “carbon fiber” that is in fact black dyed fiberglass. Real carbon fiber is conductive. Our carbon fiber rings are made out of real carbon fiber.

A few days after I got my ring, it fell apart. I sent it back to be repaired. Since then the only communication I've received have been emails asking me to review my order. I don't know anything about my ring. Has it shipped? Is there a tracking number? It's been crickets, just requests for reviews. We'll here you go. At this point I will not be buying anything else from this company, and I certainly won't recommend it to anyone

Do not purchase last minute though, each ring is made on demand so expect about a month until delivery. If you think about it, wood is rarer in the universe than diamonds . . . For our matrimonial nuptials we wanted something different from the typical metal nooses, I mean rings. Discovering Element Ring Co. was such a surprise because I was certain I'd have to go online for uniquely crafted men's rings. After browsing their site and finding what I was interested in, I visited the store, went over customization options, and purchased a ring. For context, I went with the Prince and swapped the darker material for the gold and had the titanium wrap all the way around. The sales staff are extremely friendly and helpful, especially given I needed to be sized as it was my first time buying any ring. I would (and already have) recommend this place to anyone!
I couldn’t be happier with my custom ring from Element Ring Company. They took rocks from three of my favorite climbing areas—Indian Valley in Utah, Joshua Tree, and Yosemite—and incorporated them beautifully into the NYC-style band. The mix of the three stones in the center band is stunning and truly one-of-a-kind.
What makes it even more meaningful is that a Joshua Tree rock was included, the place where my wife and I got engaged 20 years ago. She especially loves that detail, which makes the ring even more special to both of us.

I would prefer to have my wedding band always on my finger, but since I work on machines that are on 24/7 and didn't want to risk accidents/injuries, I decided to purchase "The Technician" since that is part of my official job title anyway. I love that it's snug and is the perfect substitute for my wedding band that I don't feel "naked" anymore whenever I have the real thing removed (and possibly not upsetting my wife lol). It's simple, lightweight and it's just perfect!
