My husband had his ring finger damaged in a shooting accident during his days in the service. We were nervous that we wouldn’t find anything that would fit since his knuckle was surgically replaced and it’s hard to get a ring that fits over the knuckle but is not too loose. Additionally, he’s a welder and needed a durable non-conductive ring. Element worked with us to fit a custom ring that was flexible enough to fit over the damaged knuckle but would not catch during his job. The ring is perfect.

As for the ring, the combo mentioned in the title makes it quite fun when there is direct lighting on the ring. It's mesmerizing to play with the ring and watch the twill pattern interact with the light. The gloss gives the CF weave a lot more depth, that's a big win over the standard Ultralight Racer.
Subtle and sophisticated, just how I like it!
I've had this ring for a few years now (I forget when the kickstarter went live), with active wear for 7 years as my wedding band. Due to daily wear and myself not always taking it off before doing various tasks (including firewood, landscaping and other manual labor) there are a few minor chips, but no scuffs or scratches. For what I've put it through, it has more than held up it's end of the bargain.
I absolutely recommend this band. It's incredibly light, and you'll barely realize it's even on.
