Built from a combination of 3k and 1k carbon fiber fabrics, the Pilot ring guides you in with precision and skill. Each outer woven strand of carbon fiber is made up of 1,000 individual filaments of carbon vs the usual 3k (3,000 filaments) and sometimes 12k (12,000). Don't confuse the size of the # with quality or strength, 1k is traditionally the most difficult to come by and always the most valuable. In addition to this ring being uniquely made from this finely woven carbon fiber, it is processed in a way that yields a soft touch, textured finish. A first of its kind in the ring world.

Yes, carbon fiber rings can be engraved. They can also be laser etched although special experience may be required to do so effectively. We do not necessarily recommend it and are not set up to do it.
All carbon fiber, metal, and glass fiber rings come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. If your ring breaks or cracks due to a defect in how it was made, we'll replace it. You'll need to provide a photo of the broken ring and may be asked to send it back to us.
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage from accidents, impact, or misuse
- Normal wear and surface scratches
- Chips caused by heavy impact
- Damage from chemicals, extreme conditions, or improper care
Wood rings:covered by aone-yearlimited warranty (not lifetime), because wood is a natural material subject to environmental factors. Damage from moisture is not covered.
Width is personal, but here's a useful guide:
- 4mm — slim and barely-there. Great for smaller hands or anyone who prefers a minimalist look. The most popular width for our Ultralight rings.
- 6mm — the classic width. Substantial enough to notice, narrow enough to forget about. Works well on most hand sizes.
- 8mm — bold and visible. Best for larger hands or anyone who wants the ring to make a statement.
If you're not sure, go 6mm. Most people who agonize over it end up happy with 6.

Custom orders take longer than standard build times — plan for 4–8 weeks depending on complexity.

- Size exchange: Free. We cover shipping both ways (within the USA). For international exchanges, you'll need to cover return postage.
- Full refund: Available within 30 days of shipment. Ship the ring back to us and we'll refund your full purchase price.
- Gift orders: If you need more than 30 days because it's a gift, just reach out and let us know. We'll work with you.
