Woven in a twill traditional 2x2 pattern, this classic style looks as good in silver as it does in black. Yes, carbon fiber rings can be engraved. They can also be laser etched although special experience may be required to do so effectively. We do not necessarily recommend it and are not set up to do it.
All carbon fiber, metal, and glass fiber rings come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. If your ring breaks or cracks due to a defect in how it was made, we'll replace it. You'll need to provide a photo of the broken ring and may be asked to send it back to us.
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage from accidents, impact, or misuse
- Normal wear and surface scratches
- Chips caused by heavy impact
- Damage from chemicals, extreme conditions, or improper care
Wood rings:covered by aone-yearlimited warranty (not lifetime), because wood is a natural material subject to environmental factors. Damage from moisture is not covered.
Width is personal, but here's a useful guide:
- 4mm — slim and barely-there. Great for smaller hands or anyone who prefers a minimalist look. The most popular width for our Ultralight rings.
- 6mm — the classic width. Substantial enough to notice, narrow enough to forget about. Works well on most hand sizes.
- 8mm — bold and visible. Best for larger hands or anyone who wants the ring to make a statement.
If you're not sure, go 6mm. Most people who agonize over it end up happy with 6.

My husband had his ring finger damaged in a shooting accident during his days in the service. We were nervous that we wouldn’t find anything that would fit since his knuckle was surgically replaced and it’s hard to get a ring that fits over the knuckle but is not too loose. Additionally, he’s a welder and needed a durable non-conductive ring. Element worked with us to fit a custom ring that was flexible enough to fit over the damaged knuckle but would not catch during his job. The ring is perfect.
I was in the market for something less bulky, different, but not too flashy, and not as generic as a silicone band. I also wanted something non-conductive. The quicksilver ultralight checked all the boxes. Despite being of lightweight, low profile, and fiberglass construction, it still feels like a substantial piece of jewelry that makes a “clink” when you set it on a hard surface. Yet, it is so much more comfortable to wear and I barely notice in my finger unlike my old titanium ring. It really is a work of art!
I would suggest ordering one a bit larger than normal, if you plan to forego using Element’s size chart. My old ring was a 9.5, and the quicksilver in a 9.5 was very snug.
No worries though, because customer service at Element is very accommodating, and they respond quickly to emails. They sent me a return shipping label, and I was able to exchange hassle-free, with no extra cost and a quick turnaround time. The 10.5 fits perfect and looks great! If I’m in the market for another ring, I’ll definitely return to Element, and I highly recommend them to anyone.

When we married several years ago, I bought this same ring in a 10 mm size for my husband. Fast forward to about a month ago, he had heavy steel come down on his hand. By the grace of God, the ring took the brunt of the blow and his finger was fine. The ring snapped but, better than his finger. He’s a millwright and works in some pretty knarly places. Silicone rings are a joke. They didn’t hold up two weeks. So, the Quicksilver Ultralight is the ring for him. This time we ordered one that was slightly more narrow. He said it was more comfortable. I just received my second ring today! I was wearing my first one and snagged it on something climbing down out of the belly of my work truck and it broke. This is a good thing! Don't look up finger degloving, but it happens alot! I luckily only felt a slight tug. I actually had to second guess whether I had actually been wearing the ring. Unfortunately I was in tall grass so I didn't find it. Don't mistake this for fragile, Ive worn this with total disregard at work and everywhere else for like 2.5years with no issues. Field tested by me, so you don't have to. Safe for work and much better looking and more comfortable than those silicone rings!
I just received my fiberglass ring. It looks great and is super lightweight. I'm a lineman, so I wanted something I could wear at work, and I hate those silicone rings. I didn't follow the sizing instructions so I have to send it back for a half size bigger and a smaller width (8mm to 6mm). Hopefully this does the trick. While going through the exchange process, I realized they had a sale going for earth day, so I picked up the craftsman for fancier occasions and a quicksilver stacker for my fiancee to wear at work/ while her engagement ring gets resized. The packaging is killer. Can't wait to get my other rings in and get this one back. I'll definitely be spreading the word to friends and co workers about this great company.
