Yes, carbon fiber rings can be engraved. They can also be laser etched although special experience may be required to do so effectively. We do not necessarily recommend it and are not set up to do it.
All carbon fiber, metal, and glass fiber rings come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. If your ring breaks or cracks due to a defect in how it was made, we'll replace it. You'll need to provide a photo of the broken ring and may be asked to send it back to us.
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage from accidents, impact, or misuse
- Normal wear and surface scratches
- Chips caused by heavy impact
- Damage from chemicals, extreme conditions, or improper care
Wood rings:covered by aone-yearlimited warranty (not lifetime), because wood is a natural material subject to environmental factors. Damage from moisture is not covered.
Width is personal, but here's a useful guide:
- 4mm — slim and barely-there. Great for smaller hands or anyone who prefers a minimalist look. The most popular width for our Ultralight rings.
- 6mm — the classic width. Substantial enough to notice, narrow enough to forget about. Works well on most hand sizes.
- 8mm — bold and visible. Best for larger hands or anyone who wants the ring to make a statement.
If you're not sure, go 6mm. Most people who agonize over it end up happy with 6.

Custom orders take longer than standard build times — plan for 4–8 weeks depending on complexity.
Simple: if you're not 100% happy with your ring within 30 days of receiving it, we'll make it right — no questions asked.
- Size exchange: Free. We cover shipping both ways (within the USA). For international exchanges, you'll need to cover return postage.
- Full refund: Available within 30 days of shipment. Ship the ring back to us and we'll refund your full purchase price.

I've had this ring for a few years now (I forget when the kickstarter went live), with active wear for 7 years as my wedding band. Due to daily wear and myself not always taking it off before doing various tasks (including firewood, landscaping and other manual labor) there are a few minor chips, but no scuffs or scratches. For what I've put it through, it has more than held up it's end of the bargain.
I absolutely recommend this band. It's incredibly light, and you'll barely realize it's even on.

If you despise thick and bulky rings like I do then go with an ultralight from Element! I’ve been married for 15 years and have probably worn my original wedding ring for approximately 2 weeks. I always hated the pressure it placed on my surrounding fingers. The ultralight solved it all! At just 1mm thick I can’t even tell I’m wearing it and therefore it never comes off. The attention to detail they place on crafting each piece is unmatched! While on a road trip out west we had the ability to stop by the shop in SLC and got to meet the folks behind the craft. These rings are fantastically light, and the filament carbon is a unique twist on carbon fiber. I've got 2 in different sizes.
After only waiting a week for this ring to arrive to the UK, I was very eager to open up the well packaged parcel to check it out. It was presented in a nice metal tin with cork lining inside. The first thing I noticed is how lightweight it is. It's practically weightless! I was very impressed with the craftsmanship and the pattern is subtle but noticeable.
Overall, I'd happily buy from Element Ring Co. I just need to find an excuse to buy one!

And this ring is it. Incredibly subtle and tactile, perfectly smoothed and rounded inside. An amazing depth of texture and pattern that sometimes catches the light in just the right way. Feels good on, and good to fiddle with.

I thought this ring looked great online. We ordered it for our marriage about 7 months ago. I have beat this ring to death forgetting to take it off working on the car, at work, etc. It has been smacked and covered in many different kinds of chemicals. Not a single scratch. It looks as new as it did the day I got it.
I've had my ring now for about 4 months and it's truly awesome. So light you won't even notice and you never have stress about taking it off because the carbon fiber is so strong. Definite recommend!
